Oops! Charlize Theron ignores Johnny Depp at Dior show, moment goes viral

Charlize Theron appeared to keep her distance from Johnny Depp during an event organized by Dior as part of Paris Fashion Week. The two actors, who collaborated on the film The Astronaut's Wife in 1999, were in the same room, but Theron chose to completely ignore Depp, in a way that was interpreted as demonstrative and that caused a lot of reactions on social networks.

Since their film together more than two decades ago, Theron and Depp have not had any projects together and it seems that they have not maintained a personal relationship either. Theron's behavior at the show confirmed that contact between them has been cut off for a long time. Both have been associated with the French house Dior for years, Depp as the face of the Sauvage men's perfume and Theron as the image of the iconic J'Adore fragrance, however, the distance between them was more than noticeable.

The awkward moment was caught on camera and the video was later shared on the X network, with the caption: "Charlize Theron ignores Johnny Depp (with whom she starred in 'The Astronaut's Wife') during the Dior show." 

There was no shortage of reactions, especially from those who remembered that Charlize had previously liked an article in The Times in 2023, which criticized Johnny Depp's return to cinema after the much-discussed court process with Amber Heard.

After winning his defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard in 2022, Johnny Depp has been trying to gradually return to the public stage. He appeared in the French film Jeanne du Barry at the Cannes Film Festival, where he was greeted with a standing ovation, and renewed his contract with Dior.
