Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have officially finalized their divorce, two years after their split. According to court documents filed by Cash Warren on Friday and obtained by TMZ, the former couple, who married in 2008, will not pay each other spousal support. However, to even out their assets, Cash Warren will receive a $3 million settlement, which Jessica Alba will pay in two installments of $1.5 million, one now and the other in a year.
Explanation: Spousal support is a payment that one spouse pays to the other after a divorce to help financially, but in the case of Jessica Alba and Cash Warren there will be no such payment, just a one-time reward for dividing the property.
The couple are parents to two daughters and a son. They separated in 2024, and a year later, in January 2025, the actress filed for divorce after 16 years of marriage and almost 20 years of relationship.
"I have been on a journey of self-improvement and transformation for years, both as an individual and as Cash's partner. I am proud of how we have grown in our marriage over the past 20 years. Now it is time to embark on a new chapter of growth and development as individuals," Jessica wrote on Instagram at the time.
Among other things, she added that despite the divorce, they would always remain a family. Cash Warren did not publicly comment on the split at the time, but a source told People that they remained friends and were focused on the children:
"Despite what's going on right now, they seem very close to each other. The divorce didn't come about because of any hostile drama. They still seem happy together. Jess has said over the years that it's hard to keep the spark in the relationship."
The former couple met in 2004 on the set of Fantastic Four in Vancouver, where Alba played Sue Storm and Warren was an assistant director. Life for the two seems to have moved on. Alba is in a relationship with actor Danny Ramirez, which was first rumored in May 2025, when they were spotted kissing in Regent's Park in London.
Cash Warren got engaged to model Hana Sun Doerr in August 2025. When asked by TMZ about the Jessica Alba romance, he said he was "happy for her."
