A video showing several police officers raping a 15-year-old in the Artificial Lake Park area went viral on social media and shocked the public. As you can see in the video below, the teenager is raped by police as he tries to free himself.
The 15-year-old's mother told ABC News that her son respected quarantine. "It simply came to our notice then. Seeing this week, he asked me today for permission to go by the lake. It just came out to go cycling, ?she said. The woman further testified that after the boy was late, she called him and asked him where he was, while he told him that he was at the police station after "he was caught on a bicycle."
Also for ABC News, the 15-year-old, who also documented the signs of violence on the body, said :
"I was told to go down, I didn't go down. After we did not come down, a policeman came and grabbed me by the arm, slapped me. I was asked for my ID card, but I told them I was not old enough. ?
He added that police officers also shot him on the way to the police station while he was handcuffed together with his friend in the car, that "he was talking a lot because he was angry".
Sources for ABC News suggest that an investigation has been launched against three police officers, while the officer who is seen shooting the 15-year-old will be fired.
The reaction on social media has been harsh and as you can see below, people are demanding punishment for police violence.
