Vladimir Putin risks ending up in prison for war crimes during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. At least that is what the British secretary, Dominic Raab, says.
Raab, who is also deputy prime minister, was asked by Radio Times whether he saw the end of the conflict with Ukraine with the imprisonment of the Russian leader for "war crimes".
"I think it's a very real risk he has to think about now. "Beyond his personal situation, any commander acting in Ukraine when committing illegal acts, whether targeting civilians or attacking countries, should keep in mind that the ICC (International Criminal Court) is investigating."
Canada, meanwhile, wants NATO to discuss and consider any possible scenario to isolate Russia. Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly, at the extraordinary NATO meeting with all Foreign Ministers said that NATO's red line is the avoidance of an international conflict.
