How did Cillian Murphy turn into Tommy Shelby? Well, not so easy

Cillian Murphy stunned fans again in the sixth and final season of "Peaky Blinders" [the crying emoji] as Birmingham's most famous gangster, Tommy Shelby. But becoming like Shelby was not an easy journey.

In an interview with Radio Times, the 45-year-old actor said he had to exercise to transform himself into Tommy's character, who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. For this, the actor had to change his lifestyle.

"I'm not a very physically fit person," he said.

The Irish actor also spoke about the accent problem and all the work he did to acquire Bimringham accent. He spent time with series creator Steven Knight, and your friends at a pub in Birmingham to get their accent.

Murphy recorded all the conversations they made and then went home and listened to them for hours to better fix the characteristic accent.

"Peaky Blinders" started airing on BBC 1. At the moment, there is no date when the series can be released on Netflix.
