In the group of daily dilemmas, what bothers us the most is: How often should we wash our hair? A good portion of us try to wash them every day to create a fresher look and clean hair that shines, but are we acting right? Not because frequent shampooing on the hair does more harm than good!
1. Washing them depends on the type of hair you have
Some of us have to wash them every day, while others can do it once a week. If you have thin and delicate hair you should probably wash it often as it is easily covered by sebum and greases quickly. People with dry or curly hair wash them less often as it is not necessary to apply shampoo after 1-2 days.
2. Your hair feels more and more greasy
Once you see greasy hair, instinctively the first thing you want to do is wash it, but in fact the sebum your scalp produces is important for hair health and strength.
Despite the marketing of shampoos, daily washing is the fixed recipe for a “bad hair day”. Hair that is completely bare of its natural fat becomes stiff and very difficult to style. Every 2 or 3 days would be perfect to avoid unpleasant fat and also irritation of the scalp.
3. You do a lot of physical activity
Hair in the gym is another problem that needs to be solved. Showering after it not only makes you clean hair again, but also helps the muscles recover faster. If you spend hours in the gym, daily washing is inevitable because it protects the scalp from various infections and open pores, but you have to agree that this slows down hair growth and even causes them to fall out.
4. Use styling products often
You feel that the hair has started to become weaker and rarer and obviously the use of the straightener, various sprays, slings, clips, etc., etc. affects this.
5. You have dyed hair
Dyed hair can completely change your appearance, but if you want the color not to change and the quality of the hair to be optimal, you should not wash it often. 2-3 times a week is enough to keep them clean and extend the life of the paint.
