Divorce is entering a new and not necessarily gloomy era. In a trend that is gaining ground, more and more women are choosing to mark their separation not with silence or regret, but with new personal symbols: divorce rings.
So-called divorce rings are being seen as a way to regain control over a story that has ended. In most cases, women choose to reuse the stones of their engagement or wedding ring - diamonds, sapphires or other stones - and transform them into a new piece of jewelry, no longer associated with the old symbolism. The stones are separated, repositioned or set in completely different designs: gold rings, sculptural forms, or even other jewelry such as pendants or earrings. Another common practice is to create a new ring from scratch, without using any of the previous elements.

Unlike traditional narratives that portray divorce as the end of a story, this trend sees it as a transition. Not necessarily easy, but conscious and, in some cases, liberating. As some describe it, it is a way to mark decision, not pain; self-confidence, not loss.

Ultimately, divorce rings are more than just a fashion trend. They reflect a cultural shift: a more open, conscious, and less stigmatizing way of talking about endings and the beginnings that come after them.
