Rihanna's third pregnancy revelation came as a surprise earlier this month, when she appeared on the steps of the Met Gala with a bulging belly. Following the news, a source close to the couple shared with People that the singer and her partner, A$ap Rocky, are "very excited" about the arrival of their fifth child.
The same source also revealed the reason why the singer and rapper want their children to have a small age gap:
"Rihanna has always wanted a big family, so she couldn't be more excited. They are both excited to be growing their family and can't wait to give their boys another sibling."
"They wanted their children to be close in age so they could grow up together and have a close bond," the source said.
He also added that the couple feel very blessed and grateful for this chapter of their lives.

Recently, things seem to have been going well for the world-famous singer's family, as in February, Rocky was found not guilty, while being accused of having fired a gun during an argument that occurred in November 2021.
