Desmond Scott has reacted through an Instagram story to the news that has circulated about his relationship with Kristy Scott, admitting the betrayal and initially apologizing to her.
"I want to start by apologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been affected by the public attention surrounding this situation. I know this news has been disappointing to many, and I am sincerely sorry for the pain it has caused."
According to him, the relationship between the pair had long been challenging. At the end of last year, he said that he had asked to separate from her. "A choice that I am not proud of," he called the betrayal, revealing that this was the main reason for the divorce.
"Kristy and I have faced challenges and made sincere efforts to overcome them. In late 2025, I wanted to separate and have had open conversations with Kristy about this. During this time, I have made choices that I am not proud of. I have taken responsibility for these actions, communicated them directly and personally to her, and ultimately we have decided to divorce. I ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this difficult chapter in our lives."
According to reports, Kristy (Sarah) Scott, after discovering her husband's infidelity, had filed for divorce on December 30th of last year.

Desmond's absence from Kristy's last posts in December 2025 fueled speculation even before the news was made public.
