The director of the Center for Educational Services, Rezana Vrapi, in a statement to the media (via Panorama) rejected the request of the graduates for review of the Albanian literature and language test. She stated that the testing had no errors and was drafted based on all established protocols.
"I have been informed about the reaction of some graduates and their first claim is about questions outside the test program. Let me know that no questions are out of the orientation program. We have verified them one by one and this claim does not stand. The ways in which tests are built have a strictly followed procedure, they are not tests that are done in one day. One of the features of this process is the construction of test difficulty levels, we follow the procedures set out in our methodology. ?
He added:
"All these competencies are defined in the orientation program. There is a team that builds the questions and a verification team, so the thesis goes through two hands. Therefore, if they have claims for concrete questions, they do not have concrete questions so far. Since we are in a period of pandemic, exams are corrected by a large number of teachers who stand close to each other and were chosen to be questions with alternatives to facilitate this, only for this year. And alternative questions are better. "
Vrapi said that "they do not appreciate creative skills, so the questions with development and essays were removed".
"At the end of the whole process, when we correct the graduates' tests, we look at the distribution curve and if there is a reason to review the point distribution part, it will definitely be done. We will do the analysis and then announce the results. There will be no reassessment because the test had no scientific problems. When we announce the results, we will also announce each variant that the students have had. For the points system, the analysis will be done at the end of the results, regarding the review of the test, I do not see any reason because of the procedure that we follow, the drafting of the test has very defined protocols. ?
"If there are teachers who have these claims, let's sit down, but don't follow the accusations on social networks. Whoever officially comes to sit down with the team, let?s look at the test and the claims of each side. I tell you with conviction that the test is not wrong, "Vrapi concluded.
