What happened this year during numerous awards ceremonies will be forgotten. Movies will fade away like many others before them. The winning actors, within the next decade, will be part of the Internet archives. All will be forgotten, with one exception: photos of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston finally reunited.
The photo was taken during the Screen Actors Guild Awards this Sunday and just to cheer you up. The pair, once America's favorite couple, are happy to meet. They happen in a corridor full of people, but it still looks like there is no one else besides them.
Let's analyze it in the context of other photos taken that evening. In one photo, Brad in the background, alone and captivated, sees Aniston delivering a speech on stage. In another picture he holds Aniston's hand as she leaves him. It's just adorable. It seems like a parallel universe, a universe where they were never separated. They even have the same hair style. A miracle.
Who knows what the world would be like if Brad and Jennifer had never been separated. Sure, we wouldn't have witnessed millions of magazine covers calling Jennifer "poor" and "desolate," but perhaps their romance would have far-reaching effects in the world. Perhaps Americans would be so happy that Trump would never become president. Maybe the UK would not leave the European Union. Perhaps in this universe, David Bowie is not dead. We will never know.
What makes these photos even more fantastic is the fact that both actors won SAG awards: Pitt for his role in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" and Aniston for "The Morning Show." equal in every sense of the word. They are in their best days and reached this point at the same time.
The question arises in Pitt and Aniston will capitalize on this photo and remarry. Because, from a marketing perspective, they absolutely have to remarry. If Pitt triumphs during the Oscars next month, his speech should include kneeling and the words, "Jen, I'm stupid. Please marry me. ?After that, Aniston would hurry to the podium, tearfully and cheekily, to say yes. Then they kiss, Aniston becomes pregnant immediately and gives birth there, on stage. That is the only way we will enjoy ourselves.
