A recent study of over 10,000 employees in the US, England, Japan, Germany, France and Australia has revealed that 2 hours of work meetings a day is a huge waste of time for many people, because it takes a lot of energy from the work day.
In the past, meetings were held in the manager's office, or in a specific room, once a week.

In general, these meetings could not be avoided and were the moment dedicated to the exchange of ideas, changes, discussions and socialization.

But when the pandemic hit, everything went online. Of course, this change had its benefits and it is worth noting that it created a better approach between employer and employee in many aspects. But with the end of the global health emergency, the labor market not only did not return to physical meetings, but increased the number of online meetings.

According to the study in question, people who do more meetings say that they no longer have the physical and mental energy to carry out their tasks continuously.
There are many employees who say that online meetings have also damaged the way they proceed at work. According to them, just because of work meetings, they are forced to extend their working hours even on Friday nights. This issue is affecting many large and small companies, but there are still no changes in the spirit created.
