The 74th edition of the renowned Film Festival has been held in Cannes, France. Among the hundreds of movie stars and guests who paraded in front of the cameras, on the red carpet was the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti. The head of the Kosovo government was accompanied at the event by their wife and young daughter.
In this year's edition of the Cannes Film Festival, two productions from Kosovo competed, the short film "Pa vend" directed by Samir Karahoda and the feature film, "The Lionesses of Kodra", directed by Luana Bajrami.
On Instagram, Albin Kurti stressed that "from 3,739 short films from around the world, the selection committee of the Cannes Film Festival has also selected productions from Kosovo".
