Summer is the time when we usually dye our hair blonde, but now we're seeing a change. This fall, the hair trend is going for a special brunette shade, called "Bambi," which experts describe as "a soft, warm version that seems to reflect light on brown hair."
Currently, we're seeing variations of this brunette hue on celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Kaia Gerber, and Zendaya. But what makes Bambi's brunette so special and different from the average brunette?
“It’s like spending a whole summer in the sun, but in a very refined and elegant way,” explains hairstylist Leeson. “Think soft caramel tones on a brunette base, which give the hair a sheen.”
This new shade is also ideal for fall, the season when we naturally seek warmth in our hair color.

What should you ask your hairdresser for?
The most important thing is the base. Look for a brunette base, with warm, caramel highlights scattered throughout the length, especially around the face. The highlights should be thin and well-blended, so they don't look streaky. The goal is to create dimension and shine, without a strong color.
