Which passport is the most powerful in the world?
Just like last year, this year too, Singapore tops the list as the country with the most powerful passport in the world.
Citizens holding this passport enjoy visa-free access to 195 out of 227 destinations worldwide, according to the Henley Passport Index, more than citizens of any other country on the planet.
Japan is second in the rankings, with 193 destinations, having secured the silver medal by regaining visa-free access to neighboring China for the first time since the Covid-19 lockdowns.
EU member states France, Germany, Italy and Spain are in third place, along with Finland and South Korea, with access to 192 visa-free destinations.
The fourth position in the ranking is a testament to the strength of the borderless Schengen area of ??the European Union, which guarantees free movement for more than 425 million EU citizens. The Schengen area includes seven EU countries, each with visa-free access to 191 destinations: Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
In fifth place are five countries – Belgium, New Zealand, Portugal, Switzerland and the UK – all of which have visa-free access to 190 destinations.

Where is Albania ranked?
The Albanian passport is ranked 43rd in the world according to the Henley Passport Index 2025. It must be said that it has made progress compared to the ranking of a year ago, with an improvement of 5 places.
However, the Albanian passport ranks last in the region, leaving behind only the Kosovo one.
As far as the region is concerned, the Serbian passport appears to be the most powerful, ranking 34th.
