Ricky Martin has confirmed the rumored split from husband, Jwan Yosef, through an Instagram post. The pair, in a joint statement, have expressed that they will end their 6-year marriage.
"We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children, preserving and honoring our experience as a couple during these wonderful years," they said, while stressing that their desire is to continue maintain a healthy family relationship.

Ricky and Jwan thanked people for their support and announced that they are ready for this new chapter.
They met in 2015 through Instagram and started dating after 6 months. They first met in London. The couple has 2 children, Lucia and Renn, 4 years old. Lucia is 10 months older than her brother.
The singer is also the father of two 14-year-old twins, Matteo and Valentino, born to a surrogate mother in 2008.
The pair got engaged shortly after they started dating, and at the time the singer said that "it was love at first sight".
"When I met my husband, I looked at him and said: 'I will marry him.' During "Ckemi, I'm glad to meet you", I thought "This is the love of my life", said Ricky in 2020.
