Ever since Brooklyn Beckham attacked his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, for allegedly toxic behavior, new headlines have continued to emerge regarding the rumored rift between them and his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Part of Brooklyn's statement claimed that his mother tried to "hijack" his first dance with Nicola at the wedding, after she had also "cancelled" the custom dress she was reportedly designing for his bride.
The latest development in this saga involves the couple's wedding planner, Preston Bailey, who claims there was "no tension" between the couple and Brooklyn's famous parents at the time.
“I’m surprised he’s taking this stance against his parents,” the wedding planner told Page Six. “This is not the Brooklyn I knew, he was such a nice, gentle guy… He was just a regular, polite person who would say hello and make small talk.”
Preston continued: "During the planning, especially for the design details, Brooklyn was very involved. I always thought of him as a gentle and honest guy. There was never any tension."
The wedding planner also dismissed rumors that Nicola was "controlling" in the relationship and during the planning process, saying:
"I don't remember her being authoritarian. I remember a lot of love between them."
Preston was hired by Brooklyn and Nicola in April 2021, although he confirmed he had never had direct contact with the Beckham family.
Earlier this week, an insider told People magazine:
"David and Victoria love Brooklyn and are afraid of losing their son. They would accept the reconciliation immediately."
A second source added:
"The Beckham family has no intention of reconciling with their son if he continues to be with Nicola."
The same source also claimed: “This is not an ultimatum he will give in to,” explaining that Brooklyn “has felt more support from his wife in these last three years than he has from his parents in his entire life.”
