Perhaps it is better to postpone casual movies for some other day and see "Friends", as it will not be far away when finally the famous series is no longer in Netflix.
According to TVLive, WarnerMedia - which functions through relevant subdivisions such as Home Box Office (HBO), Turner Broadcasting System and Warner Bros. - is making sure it is one of the most successful serials in the world.
If you remember, in December it was first said that "Friends" would be removed from Netflix, though an agreement was made to keep the series at least until 2019. At that time, AT & T's CEO, WarnerMedia's parent company, said "They hope that 'Friends' will be broadcast on both platforms."
However, it seems that Warner has changed his mind. The Artistic Director told the Television Critics Association that "sharing such assets is not a good model". "We believe we should have exclusive things when the broadcast service starts."
Together with "Friends" can be removed also "Riverdale" broadcast on The CW Television Network , part of WarnerMedia also. The contract with Netflix ends this spring. "We are very interested to have on our platform," said the artistic director for CW shows.
WarnerMedia's new platform does not yet have a name and is not known how much it will cost. So let's assume we have another 10 months to see "Friends", "Riverdale" and whatever else.
