Will Smith just made another blunder and people aren't forgiving him at all

In a video posted by Will Smith on Instagram, taken during his concert in Scarborough, fans noticed some strange details that made them suspect that the crowd in the background was created or manipulated by artificial intelligence.

At first glance, the video shows his fans holding signs like “We love you Will” and “‘You Can Make It’ helped me survive cancer.” But after a few reviews (and lots of zooming), fans noticed something that didn’t quite match up:

“Half the crowd looks like they're possessed,” someone wrote in the comments. “Some of them have no eyes at all.”

Someone else expressed:

"Posting an AI-generated crowd on the official website? A real shame."

The footage shows very strange-looking faces, with large eyes, inhuman proportions, and banners that magically change during the video.

A sign that initially reads "I love you FRESH PRINCE", then transforms into "I love you FR6SH CRINCE". 

Beyond doubt, in other videos and photos from the concert it seems that Will really performed in front of a large crowd. Therefore, perhaps AI was used not to create people, but to “clean up” the images, colors, contrasts, lighting, etc. However, the damage was done.

Will himself has not responded to this debate, but the internet is ruthless and in 2025, fans are no longer easily swayed by manipulation, especially when it comes from a figure like him. Lesson for artists: if you're using AI to "fix" reality, you better make sure it's not noticeable. Because the internet sees everything.
