Joe Alwyn could suffer the same fate as John Mayer, people think, after Taylor announced that her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, will be released on April 19.
Although Tay hasn't revealed details about the album, people think it's related to her 6-year relationship with Joe Alwyn. She has released the tracklist and let's just say the titles are a bit brutal.
"So Long, London", "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived", "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys", "But Daddy, I Love Him", "I Can Fix Him (No Really, I Can)", " Fortnight” and “Florida!!!” are some of the songs and the singer's fans think that some of the songs are dedicated to the English actor.
People have exploded on X (ex-Twitter): “Joe Alwyn, count the days”; "Every song on this album is just bad for Joe"; "Joe will get protection after the album"; "I'm just motivated by the fact that when I wake up on April 19, I won't have the same problems with Joe Alwyn," were some of the posts on the social network.
Meanwhile, Taylor announced on stage at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 4, 2024) that she has been secretly working on her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, for 2 years.

Swift and Alwyn met at the 2016 Met Gala and began dating a few months later, though their relationship didn't go public until 2017. They ended their relationship in April 2023.
