Blake Lively has had some criticism for "Gossip Girl" even though she became famous from this series.
In some of the messages exchanged in August 2024 with actor Brandon Sklenar, she recalled that during the filming of "Gossip Girl" the production did not allow her to find time to be part of other projects.
"My series prevented me from having other opportunities outside of it, and now I understand how difficult that was. I could have done more, along with my team, to create space for some moments during filming to honor the work I was doing outside of the series," she wrote.
Blake Lively was one of the main characters of the series and was part of the filming of all six seasons.
"They feel like you owe them something, so they try to dim your light so you're not better than them. But that doesn't have the impact they intend. It makes you angry and want to leave. If they had just created the space for you to do the work that needed to be done in a way that worked for everyone, you would feel grateful. That was my experience on the show and everyone else's."
Continuing the conversation, she gave the actor some advice on how to better manage his time while promoting the film "It Ends With Us", while he also had to be on several other shoots.
These are not the first messages circulating in the media these days. The legal case between her and Justin Baldoni is also involving many other names who have exchanged conversations with the actress.
