Chiara Ferragni was officially declared innocent in the case known as the Pandoro scandal , ending a two-year period filled with pressure, uncertainty and serious personal and professional consequences. The decision was made by the Italian judicial authorities, who decided to close the case without pursuing criminal proceedings.
The decision was based on Article 531 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which allows the court to discontinue a process when the elements for criminal prosecution are lacking. This article marked the end of a dark chapter for Ferragni that began two years ago and seriously shook her public image.
In a rare interview with Corriere della Sera, the influencer recounted the emotions of the moment she heard the decision:
"When I heard 'Article 531', I hugged Giuseppe (her lawyer) and started crying. I was crying profusely; it was like a scene from a movie."
She emphasized that she understood very well the legal weight of this decision: "I know what this article means, just as much as I know the articles that lead to a sentence."
For Ferragni, this period represented a real nightmare: "It was two years where everything that could go wrong, went wrong. But I always believed that there would be a happy ending, because there was no basis to call this story a hoax."
Her long silence in the media was not accidental. It was a carefully thought-out strategy:
"I was afraid that every word could be used against me. It was extremely difficult, but I wanted to face everything because I knew I was innocent."
The lawsuit not only affected her career, but also her personal relationships. Ferragni spoke openly about how her social circle changed:
"When you win, everyone wants to join you, but when you need it, a lot of people disappear. Some people don't care about you anymore and talk bad about you, but there were also a lot of people who gave me energy and told me not to give up."
One of the most painful moments, according to her, was the separation from Fedez:
“[The breakup] came at my only moment of need. I felt completely abandoned. I suffered a lot.”
Fortunately, she was supported by "my family, my mother, my closest friends, my lawyers and many ordinary people who encouraged me, telling me that the truth would come out."
Today, she says she feels changed and more self-centered:
"Before, it was all about always being on top of the world, reaping success and applause. In these two years I have done a great job with myself: I have learned to take care of myself and to believe every day that the truth will come out. I am an eternal optimist. Little by little, I will start speaking again and I will talk about these two years without anger."
With this decision, Chiara Ferragni closes one of the most difficult chapters of her life and paves the way for a measured return, more conscious and, according to her, more authentic than ever before.
