Chiara Ferragni has been found not guilty by a court in Milan of fraud charges linking her name to a charity initiative to sell Pandoro Christmas cakes in 2022. With this decision, the court ended a two-year process that had questioned the public figure of the Italian influencer and entrepreneur.
According to the indictment, Ferragni and the food company Balocco had created the impression that every Pandoro cake sold would contribute financially to the Regina Margherita Hospital in Turin. In reality, according to the authorities, only a single donation of 50,000 euros was made, which was considered by the institutions as an unclear and inaccurate way of communicating with consumers.

The prosecution had previously requested a prison sentence, but the court ruled that Ferragni did not bear criminal responsibility in this matter.
After the decision was announced, Ferragni said she had gone through one of the most difficult periods of her life. She stated that she had lived for two years under constant pressure and that she had always believed that the truth would come out. The influencer added that she now wants to regain peace and control over her personal and professional life.

Although she was found not guilty of the criminal charges, Ferragni previously paid several significant sums to close administrative investigations and other matters related to charitable initiatives, including donations to hospitals and children's organizations. After a period away from the public eye, she has gradually returned to collaborations with well-known brands and projects in the field of fashion and beauty.
