As the family feud continues, the Daily Mail reported that Brooklyn Beckham and his parents exchanged letters last summer, but only through lawyers.
Sources say he requested that his parents no longer contact him directly or make public statements about him on social media.
His request is believed to have come after rumors spread about his wife, Nicola Peltz. At the time, many suggested that he had become "hostage" to her.

A source said David Beckham communicated with his son through the law firm Schillings.
However, despite the information being circulated, representatives for Brooklyn and David did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment.
Last month, Brooklyn's brother, Cruz Beckham, claimed that he had blocked the entire family on Instagram. His reaction came after many media outlets reported that Victoria and David Beckham had removed their son from Instagram.
"It's not true! My mom and dad would never remove their son from Instagram! Tell them the facts as they are. When they woke up he had blocked them, just like me," he wrote at the time.
