Paris Hilton felt so bad she had to defend her 10-month-old son, Phoenix, from comments from people online who made fun of the size of his head.
"I couldn't believe they could be so mean to an innocent little kid," Hilton told People.
"You can say what you want about me, but this is my little angel," she added. "And if anyone ever says anything to hurt him or his feelings, I will always be there to protect him."
She stressed that she usually ignores hateful messages, but she couldn't help but say anything as her child was being attacked.
Paris added that she feels sorry for anyone who feels the need to make fun of a child. But she saw a glimmer of hope when she realized she had so many fans supporting her.
Paris Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum, are parents of two children, son Phoenix and daughter London, who was born a few days ago.
