
Caroline Flack passed away at the age of 40. The family of the British moderator confirms that she died on February 15 and committed suicide. She was found lifeless in her London apartment.
"We confirm that our Caroline passed away today on February 15," said a family spokesman. "We ask the press to respect family privacy in this difficult time."
Caroline Flack was known for moderating the reality show "Love Island." She left the show before the new season as a result of allegations made by her boyfriend.
She began her career at Bo Selecta and presented a number of shows, including "I'm a celebrity," "X Factor" and "Love Island."
In March, she had to appear in court to testify that she had physically abused her boyfriend, Lewis Burton. She pleaded not guilty in December. The two were not allowed to meet as long as the matter was open.
Yesterday, Burton posted a photo of Caroline on Instagram with the caption "Happy Valentine."
Caroline gave up "Love Island" before the winter season and was replaced by Laura White.
Yesterday, she last posted on Instagram. Next to a photo with the dog, he added a heart icon. Caroline was advised not to stay active on social networks.
