Online learning, although necessary in a pandemic situation like this, was undoubtedly associated with its own difficulties, as a new form of teaching that found teachers, students and other structures unprepared. Despite the fact that in 2020 online teaching should not be a new practice, it must be said that there are many difficulties.

As you can see in this Instagram poll by abanabel_media, most describe online learning as a "horror". Those who seem to have the most difficulty are high school graduates, the vast majority of whom say they are "not ready for high school exams."

Most of the graduates who write on abanabel_media on Instagram showed the same problem: learning topics they do not understand well, technical difficulties (problems with the Internet and online teaching platforms), teaching load, ambiguity in the development of the lesson (times in Google Classroom, sometimes through ready-made lectures).

However, the situation is not as bleak as it seems, as there are others who think that "graduation for graduates closes in January" and the rest "is just repetition and consultation." The Minister of Education, Besa Shahini, announced that the teaching topics explained after the pandemic will not be included in the exam.

Despite the fact that anyone can repeat the year, it seems that the vast majority will not do so. For Euronews Albania, Shahini said :

"All students will close the school year if they want. If students want to repeat the school year or want to graduate next year, they will have this opportunity without being penalized. So it will be a decision that families make considering the situation. how much they have managed to teach their children, where they want to study. They can make this decision to stay for next year, repeat it once a year without being penalized, without writing in certificates or diplomas that are repetitive. ?

However, in addition to not taking exams in the topics explained online, another reason not to repeat the year is obviously the financial cost, including courses for various subjects. Graduates say they do not have the "luxury" to start school from scratch, regardless of the energy and time spent on a school year.

Regarding the recommendations, some of them emphasize that good solutions for the situation in question would be:
- to assess students based on the average of high school;
- to conduct exams only in the faculties where the students want to study;
- to develop the lessons of this year in the next school year (September) according to a well-thought-out program;
- to conduct additional teaching hours for consultations after the end of the pandemic situation.
