Lindsay Lohan is at the peak of happiness in Dubai and has shown the reason why.
The famous actress, 39, confessed on the show "Live with Kelly and Mark" that the main reason she likes life in this city is because she enjoys a kind of privacy there that celebrities don't have in other places, especially in Hollywood.
"It's a long way from Hollywood and I live a very normal life," Lohan said. "I'm not afraid of someone taking pictures of my baby in a restaurant or anywhere else. I feel very safe."
"So there are no photographers there?" asked interviewer Kelly Ripa.
"No, it's not legal. You can't take a picture of someone in a restaurant without their permission. You have to ask them for permission, which is very different from here," the actress replied.
“It's fantastic!” Ripa marveled. “Yeah, privacy is very important,” Lohan agreed.
Lohan moved to Dubai in 2014, where she met her husband Badar Shammas. They began dating in February 2020 and married in 2022. Shortly after, they welcomed their first son, Luai, now 2 years old.
The actress known for the film "Parent Trap" has kept her private life away from the media eye and previously told Elle about the differences between the time she spends with her son in Los Angeles, New York and Dubai.
“In LA it's very difficult. Even when I go to the park with my son, I get stressed. I ask myself, 'Are there cameras?' In New York we don't have this problem, no one bothers us. Everyone is busy with their own business there,” she said.
Lohan previously spoke about her daily routine in Dubai to Flaunt magazine. She said she usually wakes up with her son and then does pilates or goes to the park.
“I do the things that any normal mother does in everyday life,” she said.
