
France – Prime Minister proposes suspension of pension reform
French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has proposed suspending a controversial plan to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64 in a bid to avoid the immediate collapse of his minority government.
During a speech to the National Assembly on Tuesday, Lecornu declared that this reform, one of President Emmanuel Macron's key policies, would be postponed until after the 2027 presidential elections.
Currently, he faces two no-confidence motions from the far-left parties La France Insoumise (Indomitable France) and the far-right Rassemblement National (National Rally).
NATO – Defense Ministers meet on assistance to Ukraine and eastern defense

Vatican - Pope thanks Italy for fight against trafficking and calls for welcoming migrants
