Trump: Gaza is experiencing 'real hunger'
US President Donald Trump declared on Monday that Gaza is experiencing "real hunger", calling on Israel to provide food for the people, in what appeared to be a change in his tone towards the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
Speaking from Scotland, Trump said the US and other countries were sending money and food to Gaza, but that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must "manage the situation."
"I want to make sure they get the food," Trump said.
His comments came after the publication of shocking images of starving children in Gaza, which have brought international attention back to the worsening hunger crisis in the Palestinian territory.

The cruise ship's passengers, mostly Israeli citizens, disembarked on the island without incident, according to Greek media.
Thailand accuses Cambodia of violating border ceasefire
Thailand accused Cambodia of deliberately violating a ceasefire the two countries had agreed to on Monday to end border clashes that have left at least 33 dead and displaced thousands of residents.
The ceasefire, reached after five days of bombing and rocket attacks, appears to be facing immediate challenges.
The Thai military said it had ceased fire after midnight, but that it continued to be attacked by the Cambodian side "at several points" until the morning hours.
Meanwhile, Cambodia's Defense Ministry told AFP that "there have been no armed clashes" since the ceasefire came into effect.
