A special initiative is likely to be approved by the Kosovo Assembly, presented by Vjosa Osmani , as one of the points to prevent and combat the spread of Covid-19.
In her speech, Osmani stressed that people with positions and influence in society, spread false information that there is no virus. She added that such events should not be left out of the spotlight and deserve to be punished.
"Through this draft law to provide penalties in particular for those persons who misuse their position or influence in society to disseminate misinformation that there is no virus. So, there seems to be concrete punishments for such persons, for the damage they do to society in times of pandemic [which] is extremely great and such misinformation should not go unpunished. ”
