During a press conference, Deputy Minister of Health Mira Rakacolli spoke about the state of Covid-19 in the country. The increase in the number of infected is increasing, but according to the decision of the Committee of Experts, the current figures do not predict a closure of schools.
As for the universities, they expressed that the teaching will continue online until another announcement.
"There is no significant change that the opening of schools has had an increase in figures. What the Committee assesses is the general well-being of children and is also the orientation given by the WHO. "Stable, we are not discussing it at the moment. As we have seen, the figures also change, so they will be reviewed from time to time.
Regarding other new restrictive measures, Rakacolli said that they could change if the numbers of infected people will also change, but according to her, "we are still in well-calculated conditions to be able to stop it."
The director of the Institute of Public Health, Albana Fico announced that so far it turns out that 52% of those affected by Covid-19 are women and 48% are men while the most affected ages are from 65-74 years and 55-64 years.
