Kaia Gerber is on the latest cover of Harper's Bazaar and, in an interview with the magazine, she opens up about her relationship with her mother, supermodel Cindy Crawford. Despite being the daughter of one of fashion's most iconic women, the 24-year-old says her childhood was "really normal."

Of course, "normal" with some not-so-common nuances.
Kaia says that the walls of the house she grew up in were filled with nude photos of Cindy, including the famous black and white set for Playboy in 1988, shot by Herb Ritts.

For Kaia, there was nothing provocative about these images:
"To me they were artistic. There was no vulgarity, there was no objectification."
She adds that growing up in a home “without shame for the female body” was a real gift. Although her childhood was somewhat isolated, Kaia describes it as something very positive.

She attended public school, did theater, participated in community plays, sang in the choir, danced, and had a life far from the idea of ??a girl "grown up in a bubble."

Recently, Kaia has brought back one of Cindy's most iconic looks from the '90s, appearing in an unusual combination: a loose black sweater, a pink pleated skirt, pink heels and electric blue socks. A clear homage to the 1994 Versace campaign, which Cindy Crawford shot alongside names like Claudia Schiffer and Christy Turlington.

And yes, after all, the apple falls under the pear!
