In a recent interview, she spoke openly about the challenges of being a young girl growing up in the spotlight and the fears that come with it.
"The scariest thing is the idea that I could lose myself."
Ortega explained that the pressure to always be “in shape,” to meet industry and social media expectations, can alienate her. Surrounded by eyes watching her every move, she admitted that she sometimes fears that her authenticity could be replaced by an image that doesn’t represent her.
"Hollywood imposes a certain idea on you of how you should be, how you should look, how you should behave. My biggest challenge is not to lose myself in all this noise."
