For the fourth consecutive year, the Mane Foundation supports the best Master's students from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana with full scholarships. This year, six scholarships were awarded in study programs such as: Tourism, Economics, Information Security and Finance. The scholarship award ceremony took place at the Faculty of
Economics, where the students, the founder of the Mane Foundation and the President of the BALFIN Group, Samir Mane, and the Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bernard Dosti were present.
In his speech, Samir Mane emphasized the importance that the Mane Foundation, through the B4Students program, devotes to educating young people and supporting students who show ambition and desire to grow as professionals or entrepreneurs. He did not hesitate to appreciate the work done by the Faculty of Economics in terms of professionals who make an important contribution to private companies in the country.
"Success is a journey that knows no limits and to continue it together, know that our support will not be lacking for a moment; not only in the context of academic development, but for valuable internships in BALFIN Group companies, which will orient you towards the job market prepared and secure," Mane addressed the students present while adding a very interesting fact, that over 450 former students of the Faculty of Economics are currently employed in BALFIN Group companies in the country. Also, 20 students from this faculty, thanks to the B4Students program, are currently pursuing internships in the group's companies.
The Dean of the Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bernard Dosti, recalled the signed cooperation agreement with the BALFIN Group and said that it will continue further, thanks to the shared vision for a sustainable economy. He emphasized the importance of this cooperation, describing it as an example that shows how private entrepreneurship can contribute to the improvement of the education system.
"I am happy that the cooperation agreement with the BALFIN Group is not an agreement on paper, on the contrary. It has been materialized in a very significant way and will continue to provide the best, both for the faculty and its students, as well as for the sustainable development of the economy. It is undoubtedly an act undertaken that best demonstrates how private entrepreneurship can promote a more qualitative education system", said the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Bernard Dosti.
Over the past four years, the collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and the BALFIN Group has brought valuable investments such as: 1 modern IT laboratory, contemporary professional internships at the Group's companies, organization of academic and scientific conferences, as well as numerous activities focused on the academic and professional development of young people. The Mane Foundation joins the goals of the BALFIN Group through the B4Students program and study scholarships, where students gain practical experience and valuable skills for their careers.
