Earlier this year, Maverick Francisco Oyao, introduced to his Facebook followers the dress he created for his sister. After learning that his parents could not afford to buy or rent a dress, the young man from Zamboanga in the Philippines decided to create it himself with cheap and affordable materials to buy.

His story was spread most recently on the internet after it was published by sites like Bright Side or Bo Tauk.

Maverick found himself on YouTube and Google to see the dresses and the way they were made. On his Facebook, he shared photos during the process:
