Actor Erand Sojli has revealed that he has been divorced from his wife, Rina, for 3 years. In a confession on "Ferma VIP", he revealed that although he tried to save the marriage, neither he nor his partner could.
"We've been separated for three years. It was over but we didn't realize it. We tried to get back together, but you know it's a waste of time," he said.
However, despite the separation, Erandi stressed that he still maintains communication with his ex-wife because of their daughters. He also stressed that the two have respect for each other.
"We respect each other, we communicate, because we have two children together. We have spent half a very good life, we have been a support. I have thought more about the outside, she more about the family and so we had stabilized our lives in a way, we communicate when we need to. Of course, it is something that can happen to everyone, it is not a good thing. But we have faced it in our family stories like me, like Rina, I find the moment to greet her, so we have had such stories. During the dictatorship in family stories with aunts, with uncles and because we were good people, they loved us but did not resist political pressure. They have separated, they have remarried, what is important in this life is the restart. The fall is not important, but the rise," he added.
On the other hand, he emphasized that the two daughters had no problem with their divorce.
"The girls are used to it, they know that divorce is not a problem. The girls started laughing (when they realized that I was going to join the VIP Farm) because they can't imagine me cleaning up dung. The eldest is studying biology, the youngest is in high school," he said.
Actor Erand Sojli was absent from the Albanian scene for several years, after moving to the United States with his family. Recently, he became part of the reality show "Ferma VIP".
