A video and photos of Kate Middleton shopping at a farm near Windsor Castle over the weekend have gone viral, but people are still not convinced that she's not the Princess of Wales again, adding to the conspiracy theories. Some people even think that, in fact, the woman pictured is Heidi Egan, a British citizen, who bears a very close resemblance to Kate.
Heidi has spoken to TMZ, denying rumors that she was the woman pictured next to Prince William. "People think I'm Kate Middleton in that video that's going around online. I have an alibi and no, I am not the woman in the video. Actually, I was at work (when the princess was seen)".
Heidi revealed that she works at a dance school, even on Saturdays, and her job is 128km from the farm where Kate was photographed, stressing that she is 100% convinced that the woman in the video and photos online is the Princess of Wales. "I think 100% that it is her. "I haven't received any threats, but people are concerned about Kate Middleton's well-being," she said.
Heidi herself has even taken advantage of the similarity and all the online rumors and has published a photo of herself on Instagram, where she says: "I found it. It's good," accompanied by the hashtags #whereiscatemiddleton #lookalike.
Rumors and conspiracy theories began in January this year, when the royal palace announced that Kate would undergo surgery and would not be seen in public until Easter. Immediately, people began to claim that Kate has disappeared, that she has undergone cosmetic surgery, that Prince William has betrayed her, etc.
