Bernardi tells shocking story of sexual abuse: "My childhood was stolen at the age of 10"

In last night's premiere of "Big Brother VIP Albania 4", the production decided to show Bernard's life story.

Bernard's story began with him telling how he grew up in a loving family with two parents who had created a happy childhood for him. However, he went on to reveal that he had also faced great challenges, from a serious incident of sexual abuse at an early age to bullying and social neglect, which later led to his isolation.

Bernard revealed how, tragically, at the age of 10, he fell victim to an act of rape by his neighborhood neighbor, expressing:

“10 years old, on the side of the road while I was playing, a neighbor from the neighborhood comes up to me and says: 'Why aren't you playing?' He said to me, 'Come with me, I'll help you.' I followed him into the house and we went into a bedroom. He said to me, 'This is something that will ease your pain.' And there was no greater pain. I just wanted to leave, I couldn't even turn my head, I couldn't even scream. The only thing I could see were those shadows on the walls. I screamed, I cried, I begged him, 'Don't do this.'”

He continued his story by telling how the event affected the continuity of his life and the consequences he felt for years, since that day that he himself considered 'the day that turned his life into a real hell':

"I didn't realize until my teenage years that this was sexual abuse. After the abuse, any pain I wanted to share and anything I wanted to show and express was almost impossible due to the blackmail that my parents, my society would find out. I punished myself so much that I don't even know how to express it. This made me withdraw into myself even more. I was afraid to go to school, to come home alone."

His story continued with the suffering that Bernard said he had felt during his adolescence because of the way he was treated in society, because he was 'different and more feminine than other boys'. He then revealed that he himself, only at the age of 37, had understood and accepted that he was a homosexual man, a confession he had made the previous week inside the house.

Bernard, who has now revealed that he is married to a foreign man named Enam, has two daughters from his first marriage to an English woman, Kimberley and Coral, who visited him yesterday evening in the Room of Surprises.

The surprises did not end for him, as he received a letter from his mother that, among other things, expressed in her touching letter: "I'm sorry, mother's son, if we were not able to understand your difficult moments. I'm sorry, son, that mommy could not heal the wounds that life brought you," causing strong emotions in Bernardi and other residents inside the house.
