Beatrix and Alban Ramosaj have shared with their followers some good and exciting news regarding their mother, Antigone Ramosaj,'s battle with cancer.
In a touching post on social media, they announced that their mother has officially completed chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Together, they are seen in the video celebrating this important family moment: a moment of relief, gratitude and hope after a long and difficult period.
In their message, Beatrix and Alban write:
"The hug we prayed for."
It has been a tough journey, difficult to describe in words, but gratitude and optimism prevail. Even as this difficult challenge draws to a close, we are reminded that life is short and that to live… to hold loved ones close at every moment is a gift and a privilege.
Mom has officially finished chemotherapy and radiotherapy, so today we celebrate; tomorrow and every day that we have the opportunity to be with you. In mid-March she will have her first follow-up scan after the therapies she has undergone and we are hoping, praying and manifesting that the result will be a complete recovery from this challenge.
We love you very much, mom.
"And thank you to everyone who has stood by us during this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with every person and family who is facing similar challenges."
Completing chemotherapy and radiotherapy is a huge step in the fight against cancer. Although a follow-up scan is still awaited to confirm the results, finishing treatment means that the most intense phase of the battle is over. This brings hope for a full recovery and is a moment worth celebrating.
