The BBC has devoted an article to a singer of Albanian origin, Bebe Rexha, titled "Bebe Rexha: 'I banged on doors until my hands bled' (Bebe Rexha: 'Trotted in the doors as far as my hands bleed me). Among other things, the BBC certainly stops at its origin, considering it as part of the fantastic trio: Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha and Rita Ora.

Bebe's father, Flamur Rexha, born in Great Dibra, emigrated to the United States at the age of 21. The singer's mother, Bukurije Rexha, was born in America by an Albanian family of Gostivar.
