Pamela Anderson has denied being involved in an orchestrated relationship for attention with her "Naked Gun" co-star, Liam Neeson.
“I do not and will never indulge in publicity stunts,” she said during the American Film Festival in Deauville, France, where she received the Deauville Talent Award.
"It would be a death sentence. I'm always honest. I'm superstitious when it comes to love and I don't feel comfortable sharing any part of my romantic life."
She added:
"I know I'll fall in love again and again on screen. That's my job."
Pamela said she doesn't play "stupid games" and everything she shows in public is honest. She said comments about the alleged romance were "the biggest compliment" and asked people to think positively.
The former Playboy model, 58, and the actor, 73, sparked dating rumors during their romantic summer film tour. A July report claimed they were "in the beginnings of a romance," with a source telling People:
"It's clear they're attracted to each other."
However, an inside source told Page Six last week that this was not true:
"There was an immediate chemistry, but it never developed into an intimate relationship."
Their friendship remains "real" and they will always have a connection, the source added. Another source previously told Page Six that the affectionate red carpet looks were "very candid."
"They won't be showing up on the red carpet just to look adorable; that's not their style at all," the source said.
Pamela Anderson has been married to several famous names, including Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, Rick Salomon and most recently Dan Hayhurst, from whom she divorced in 2022. She has two sons with Tommy Lee.
Liam Neeson was married to Natasha Richardson from 1994 until her accidental death in 2009 and also has two sons.
