Miley Cyrus was on her way to Paraguay when the plane she was traveling in crashed to make an emergency landing.
Miley posted a message to fans on Instagram on Wednesday, saying the plane had been struck by lightning. The post includes a lightning video that appears from one of the plane windows.
"My crew, group, friends and family who all traveled with me are safe after the emergency landing," the singer wrote.

Cyrus had set out to perform at the Asunciónico music festival in Asunción. The weather conditions were so bad in Paraguay that the first day of the festival was canceled. Other artists including Foo Fighters, Machine Gun Kelly and Doja Cat were unable to perform.
