During this season, when most leave the capital, it seems that cultural institutions have officially received holidays in Tirana to move to the south, which has been the subject of these activities.
It was the Opera Theater that moved first along the Ionian coast with "Opera in Jeans", which originally started on "Skanderbeg Square" with the interpretation of Vikena Kamenisa, Albana Leka, Niko Kondakciu, a concert where people chose denim clothing to listen a kind of mix of opera music, contemporary songs and orchestras, concerts of the National Ensemble and premiere of "Sokak i Marrëve" in the city of Gjirokastra.
The latter, who gathered alongside Albanian and foreign artists, was inspired by the works of Ismail Kadare and donated to the attendees the most popular motifs of the southern areas through the orchestra of the National Ensemble, dance troupe, choir etc.
Also at the end of June National Theater and Experimental Theater, due to the debates in the country, were temporarily closed. The Puppet Theater is now shifted with performances in Himara and Dhermi.
However, concerts with live music, but not limited to, organized by artists or private companies will continue in the capital.
