Andrea Swift may be one of the main reasons Taylor Swift decided to give Travis Kelce a chance. It all happened after she saw the viral episode of the podcast "New Heights."

In that episode, Travis described a recent failed attempt to give Taylor his phone number during one of her concerts.

That was enough and the singer's mother began her research. She noticed many headlines circulating about Travis' possible interest in her daughter.

The potential candidate seemed pretty sweet, so much so that she decided to call her cousin, whom she considers an "expert" on the NFL team from Missouri, to learn more about him.

The search did not disappoint, and even increased her desire to do a little cupid. Expectations grew even more after she learned that the potential groom had a very good relationship with his mother.

Taylor's mom isn't far behind us. She moved a few stones for her daughter to consider the next contender.

"I said to myself: Now, how am I going to convince him to meet her?"

And yes, from the way things developed between them, we can say that Andrea is the happiest of all that this relationship is being crowned.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce began dating in July 2023, and he proposed to her in August. The couple got engaged this summer and are expected to tie the knot in June.
