The 2022 job market is still full of opportunities and a growing number of companies are offering distance (home) employment opportunities to have more flexibility at work. Last year FlexJobs, a membership service for jobseekers, saw a 12% increase in the number of distance job listings on their site as well as a wider range of opportunities across all levels of industry and experience.
FlexJobs, in the site database over the past month, did a check of over 13,000 vacancies from 5,800 companies to determine which distance jobs are currently the most sought after and are expected to become more popular in the months next.
These are the most sought after jobs and professions remotely according to FlexJobs:
1. Customer service - help customers solve questions and problems related to products or services. They act as a liaison between customers and companies, helping to attract new customers and suggesting
2. Recruiter - is responsible for searching and reviewing candidates who have applied for jobs in various roles of the company. Also coordinate interviews, job offers and the staffing process.
3. Accountant - helps businesses collect, monitor and improve their finances. Responsibilities include filing taxes, updating financial data, and managing income and expense accounts.
4. Executive Assistant - supports business executives by responding to their workload, monitoring and managing calendars, organizing meetings and other administrative tasks.
5. Project manager - works in a range of industries including engineering and financial services to lead clients' projects by identifying resources, preparing a budget and monitoring progress, sharing employee tasks and reporting performance over several different time phases.
