Hollywood events have long been synonymous with extravagant gowns, satin, tulle, skirts that slide down red carpets, and dramatic details that barely move. But the days of dresses as the only "proper" choice for a formal event seem to be over.

The famous ladies have another and much more fantastic plan: striped suits are back and are experiencing their strongest moment.

If you're not the type who likes to wear dresses, we're in it together! You'll be happy to learn that many of the most stylish stars of the moment are replacing them with this new trend that is just as elegant, but much more modern.

Greta Lee is one of the first to embrace the trend like a true star. The actress was recently spotted in a striped suit. She styled the set with a neon yellow shirt and a pair of black ballerina flats. A bold yet fresh combination and far from the classic expectations for a red carpet look .

While Greta took it more casually , other celebs like Leslie Bibb went for a more sophisticated version. She opted for a well-cut suit with wide-leg pants, while Miley Cyrus brought the trend to life in her typical rockstar style , without too many rules but with a lot of personality.

Drew Barrymore, meanwhile, opted for a skirt-jacket set, paired with a short tie and a dog-shaped bag (yes, a dog-shaped bag!).
