Kristin Davis nuk ndihej gjithmonë rehat si Charlotte në xhirimet e “Sex and the City”, veçanërisht kur bëhej fjalë për seksin. Kështu është shprehur vetë aktorja në një intervistë të dhënë së fundmi.

"Sex and the City" star talks about sex scenes: "I didn't feel protected"

Kristin Davis didn't always feel comfortable, as Charlotte, on the set of "Sex and the City," especially when it came to sex. The actress herself said this in a recent interview.

In an interview with "People", the actress spoke about filming the series' most intimate scenes, saying that she didn't feel "comfortable" in the early days, especially considering that the people helping in these scenes were not common on sets in the '90s.

Initially, Davis stated that she was "confused" by the number of intimate scenes in the series and did not believe they were all necessary, noting that the series was designed for an audience that included primarily girls and women.

"Women don't want to see them (sex scenes) so often in a series."

This, according to her, made her feel "scared" when it came to filming sex scenes.

"I didn't feel protected," she said. "I had to hide in my dressing room at the end of the script and call my manager in Los Angeles at two in the morning."

However, she explained that over the course of the show's six seasons, the sex scenes changed, focusing more on the actors' comfort and "much more on how they should be on the show and in real life." 

The actress also recalled how the other stars of the series felt about filming sex scenes, noting that they all had different approaches to the issue.

She said that Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones, was "fearless." While Sarah Jessica Parker was "more reserved" on set and felt uncomfortable in intimate scenes.

However, Cynthia Nixon felt differently, stating that "she just didn't care about anything."
