A shocking story seems to have been revealed by the Korça court, where a girl, Kejsi Spahillari, has been charged with the security measure of imprisonment for the murder of her boyfriend, Antonio Karafili. The sad event took place in Voskopoja, 7 years ago.

At that time, because the deceased Antonio was found hanging with a sheet from a tree on the outskirts of Voskopoja, the case was investigated and registered as a suicide. However, the investigations continued and after collecting evidence, the result came out that in fact, it was not a suicide, but a murder. Antonio was the victim and was killed by Kejsi and another person, Rexhep Vathi. It is suspected that Kejsi and Rexhep had a parallel relationship and strangled the deceased with a sheet, thus staging a suicide.

Later, Kejsi left for Canada where he also started a family, while in 2024, Rexhepi ended his life by committing suicide.

The Korça Prosecutor's Office has also issued an arrest warrant for Kejsi, while the court has set the security measure of imprisonment in absentia for the charge of intentional murder in collaboration. Furthermore, an international arrest warrant may also be issued.
