"Death doesn't like it when you mess with its plans."
The new trailer for the upcoming sixth installment of "Final Destination" has become the second most-watched horror movie trailer of all time.
It all started 25 years ago, so it makes sense that “Final Destination” would return this year, just in time for its quarter-century anniversary.
Its sixth installment, starring the late Tony Todd in his final big-screen role as William Bludworth, hits theaters in May, and the trailer for “Final Destination: Bloodlines” has just become the second most-watched horror movie trailer of all time — breaking a 24-hour record set by “28 Years Later.”
According to a report from Deadline, the clip reached 178.7 million views in 24 hours across all platforms worldwide, second only to 2017's "IT."
Have you ever had ice in a glass, a trampoline, and a lawnmower give you this much anxiety?
“Final Destination: Bloodlines” was announced last December, and its release date comes 14 years after the previous film, “Final Destination 5.” It will apparently be about another set of deadly accidents – affecting the family of an elderly woman who has been stalked by death since her youth.
"Final Destination: Bloodlines" is scheduled to be released on May 15th and 16th in most European territories.
